How Docks2Doc works

Freight Paperwork,
Finally Off Paper.

How the Docks2Doc transportation app works.

The platform

What Docks2Doc Does

Docks2Doc is a transportation logistics platform built from the ground up around one idea: the document is the load. Communication and load history keep every party, timestamp, and signature connected to the record.

Digital Bill of Lading

Created, uploaded, signed, and stored in the cloud.

Automatic Check-in

GPS check-in fires to the shipper, guard shack, or receiving clerk when the driver arrives.

Digital Signatures

The receiver signs on screen; the signed BOL is stored instantly.

Email Push-forward Workflow

Each step is emailed as a PDF: order to shipper, load to broker or carrier, load to driver, check-in notices, and final signature confirmation.

Easy Billing

The signed BOL attaches to an invoice generated and sent when delivery is complete.

Communication Center

Built-in messaging for drivers, brokers, carriers, shippers, and receivers.

Load History

Every company, driver, carrier, and broker involved in a load, with timestamps and signatures.

One connected system

Built for Every Side of the Load

Four web portals plus a driver mobile app — one platform, connected end to end.

Driver App

Mobile + web.

Free to drivers. Receive loads, navigate, check in automatically, upload documents, and get paid faster. Ads keep it free.

Carrier / Broker Portal

Move more with control.

Post and find loads, manage drivers and equipment, dispatch to terminals, verify carrier authority and safety data, and get paid. One build, because carriers and brokers do both.

Shippers / Receivers Portal

One account, either direction.

A single account works both ways — the same customer number follows you whether you are shipping out or receiving in. Manage facilities, set pickup and delivery requirements, schedule docks, and sign off digitally.

Corporate Headquarters & Satellite Control

Oversight across locations.

Companies with a main office and multiple terminals, yards, or facilities get headquarters oversight — employees, transactions, equipment, and reporting across every location.

The workflow

How a Load Moves

  1. 01

The receiver places an order — the shipper gets the pickup details by email as a PDF.

  2. 02

The load is pushed to the broker or carrier with full pickup information.

  3. 03

The broker or carrier sends the load and BOL to the assigned driver.

  4. 04

The driver arrives — an automatic check-in goes to the shipper, and the bill of lading is produced and emailed to everyone.

  5. 05

At delivery, the automatic check-in goes to the guard shack or receiving clerk and the load is offloaded.

  6. 06

The receiver signs digitally — a second signature email goes to all participants, and the signed BOL is stored in the cloud.

  7. 07

The invoice generates automatically with the signed BOL attached, and payment status goes back to the carrier.

No chasing. No lost paperwork. Everyone sees the same document at the same time.

Operational clarity

The Result

Less waiting at every handoff.

Drivers check in without another status call. Receivers sign once. Carriers receive a complete record with the paperwork attached.

A record everyone can find.

The load history preserves the people, documents, timestamps, signatures, and payment status that keep freight moving.
